One inbox for every inquiry

When you're on a job or with a customer, calls ring out, voicemails wait and emails pile up. The inbox catches every one of them in one place and tells you which are still waiting, so you can call back before the customer calls someone else.

What it does

  • Missed calls. Your phone forwards the calls you don't answer to a number I run for you. The caller hears your greeting and leaves a message. The voicemail is turned into text. After hours, a different greeting plays.
  • Email. One forwarding rule sends a copy of new inquiries to the inbox. I don't get access to your mailbox.
  • Your website. A contact form I host sits on your site, and every message lands in the same place.
  • Alerts. Urgent inquiries reach you right away, by text or email.
  • A daily list. Every morning: who got in touch, what they need, how urgent it is, and what's still unanswered. Drafted replies are ready for you to send.
  • A monthly check-up. The numbers in plain words: how many inquiries came in, how many got a reply, and what slipped through.
  • An optional text to missed callers. One text that names your business, says it's an automated assistant, and lets them reply STOP.

What it doesn't do: answer your phone with an AI voice, talk to your customers for you, quote prices or book jobs. You still call back. That's the part that wins the job.

Planned price

The inquiry inbox$149 a month
Founding clients (the first 5)$99 a month for their first 12 months
Usage: phone numbers, texts, transcription, AIPassed on at cost, shown in dollars, with a default cap of $25 a month that you can change

Month to month, with no contract and no setup fee. Nothing above your cap is charged without your written approval. Nothing is charged until you sign up.

Setting it up

  1. Turn on call forwarding for calls you don't answer, with a short code from your carrier or a setting in your phone app.
  2. Add one email forwarding rule for new inquiries.
  3. Put the contact form on your website, or give me access to add it.

Then I make a test call, send a test email and fill in the form, and the inbox goes live. If you switch on the text to missed callers, carriers first need to register your business for texting, which can take a few weeks.

How we work together: remotely, and in writing

Email is the best way to reach me. Texts and messages on other channels we agree on count just as much as a call. Just say what's wrong and what you're seeing. AI helps me read and sort messages, and I deal with problems in order of urgency. You can call, but calls may go to voicemail, and I don't promise a quick call-back.

I work remotely from Los Angeles and never on site. You name someone in charge of your technical side, who sets up the forwarding and the form, and turns them off if you stop.

AI is part of the service

AI turns voicemails into text, sorts inquiries by urgency and drafts replies. It works behind the scenes. Callers hear your own greeting, never an AI voice, and any text a customer receives says it's from an automated assistant.

AI makes mistakes. It can mishear a voicemail, sort an inquiry wrongly or draft a reply you wouldn't send. So you see every inquiry with its original message, you send the replies yourself, and nothing goes to a customer except the optional, labeled text. I use AI only on plans whose terms say the provider doesn't train its models on what I send.

Work I don't take

  • Work in law, medicine, dentistry, lending, tax or insurance.
  • Robocalls, or mass cold calls, texts or emails.
  • Businesses with more than about 50 staff, or several locations that need to change at the same time.
  • Jobs where new software must first pass a security questionnaire, an audit or a certification such as SOC 2.
  • Projects where several people each have to sign off.
  • Custom work. If you need something the inbox doesn't do, I'll say so.
  • Businesses outside the US.

Your data

Before the inbox opens, its terms and a privacy notice for your customers' messages will be published here. For the free review: it asks about your business, not your customers. I don't sell your answers or use them to train AI models.

How your review answers are handled

Questions

Is it available now?

Not yet. I'm taking names for a founding list. If you join, I'll write when the inbox opens. Nothing is charged until you sign up, and joining doesn't commit you to anything.

Do I have to change my phone number, phone app or software?

No. Your number and your apps stay as they are. Your phone forwards the calls you don't answer, your email forwards a copy of new inquiries, and the contact form sits on your website. Your job or booking app isn't touched.

Does an AI answer my phone?

No. Callers hear your greeting and leave a message, as they do today. AI works behind the scenes: it turns voicemails into text, sorts every inquiry by how urgent it is, and drafts replies for you to send. If you switch on the optional text to missed callers, that text says it's from an automated assistant.

Who calls the customer back?

You do. The inbox makes sure you know about every inquiry and which ones are still waiting. It doesn't talk to your customers for you, quote prices or book jobs.

What do I need to set it up?

Someone in charge of your technical side: you, or a staff member you name. They turn on call forwarding (a short code or a setting in your phone app), add one email forwarding rule, and put the form on your website. A checklist with screenshots walks them through it. I don't need your passwords or an account in your software.

What does it cost?

The planned price is $149 a month, plus usage passed on at cost (phone numbers, texts, transcription and AI), shown in dollars with a default cap of $25 a month. The first five founding clients pay $99 a month for their first 12 months. Month to month, with no contract.

What if I stop?

Turn off the forwarding and remove the form. I stop processing, release the phone number I used for you and delete your data. There's no contract to end.

Will AI make mistakes?

It can. It can mishear a voicemail or sort an inquiry wrongly. That's why every inquiry stays in your daily list with the original message or recording, so you can check it yourself.

Do you have client references?

No. This is a new service, and the founding clients will be the first. What I can show is what I run myself: a live international calling app with real payments, fraud controls and compliance.

Find out whether it fits

The free review works out what lost inquiries cost you, from your own numbers. It tells you honestly when a setting you already have, a ready-made tool or a simple routine covers it instead. If the inbox fits, the result tells you how to join the founding list.
